The history of KE Fibertec AS goes all the way back to 1963 when manufacturer Keld Ellentoft (KE) began making filterbags for industry. In 1996 KE Fibertec was established in a management buyout by two leading employees, Henning S. Jensen and Carsten Jespersen. In March 2007, Managing Director Henning S. Jensen sells his shares to Jysk-Fynsk Kapital AS, and Sales Director Carsten Jespersen is appointed new managing director. Behind Jysk-Fynsk Kapital are five well-known Danish family foundations, AHF Holding (Faber Gardiner), Genua A/S (the Primo group), Hoffmann Capital A/S (Arovit Petfood),  L. E. Kristiansen Erhvervsinvest ApS (Tvilum Scanbirk), and Vald. Birn Holding A/S (the Valdemar Birn group).

From 1996 to 2009 KE Fibertec has undergone a huge development both as to turnover and staff. From approx. 40 employees in 1996, today's number of employees is around 110, and subsidiaries have been
established in the UK, Germany, and the USA as well as the production
company KE Fibertec Væveri. With the acquisition of Euro Air A/S
and Euro Air CZ (production company of Euro Air in the Czech Republic)
in 2007, the KE group has strengthened its position
as the world's leading manufacturer of textile ducting.

Euroair Products

September 2009

KE Fibertec UK, Ltd. located in Southampton takes over the sales and distribution of Euro Air’s products in the UK from January 1st 2010. The previous distributor Paul Russon from Euro Air UK, Ltd. has decided to resign after almost 7 years working as an independent distributor for Euro Air DK.

Since the international Danish manufacturer of Textile Based Ventilation Systems, KE Fibertec, acquired Euro Air DK in September 2007, the UK based subsidiary, KE Fibertec UK has been competing with Euro Air UK Ltd owned by Paul Russon on market terms.

- We have evaluated the situation and found that it was the right time to merge the activities into one legal company to achieve synergies in sales and administration, CEO Carsten Jespersen says. - Most people in the UK are aware of the fact that KE Fibertec is the legal owner of the Euro Air production facility, so we find it better to let our customers decide which product line offers most value for money on a specific project rather than keep selling as independent competitors.

- The products of Euro Air will therefore still be sold as an independent brand by KE Fibertec UK and we will work very hard to maintain the differences between the two product lines. The main difference for our UK customers after January 1st 2010 is that they only have one contact person to speak to and the invoices will come from KE Fibertec UK Ltd.

- We deeply regret Paul Russons decision to leave Euro Air as a distributor as he has been a big asset for Euro Air and the promotion of the Euro Air products in the UK, Carsten Jespersen says. - However, we respect his decision and wish him all the best in the future.

Please notice: Any warranty claims for Euro Air systems supplied before 1st January 2010 are the responsibility of Euro Air UK Ltd. Any systems supplied after this date will be warrantied by KE Fibertec UK Ltd.

Mission

To sell ”Good indoor climate” is more than just selling air distribution products. To us it is about dialogue, competence, reliability and logistics. Our philosophy is to start with the requirements and - through dialogue - design a solution that meets the expectations specified for a good indoor climate. Just as people are different, indoor climate requirements are different, too.

It is our objective to make Air the way you want”:

Through advanced use of fibre technology and competent advising we wish to give our customers the benefits of textile based air distribution (heating, ventilation and cooling) in all types of buildings.

We will continue to strengthen and develop our core competences in the R&D, logistics and production of textile based ventilation products in order to be the supplier of choice on selected markets worldwide.
